Post-Doctoral Researcher in Microbial Communication

 The InnoRenew CoE is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to study microbial communication within biofilms, incorporating fungi, algae, and bacteria. The research will focus on understanding interactions and communication in multispecies communities, including exploring quorum sensing and metabolic exchanges. Key responsibilities include maintaining multispecies co-cultures, using advanced microscopy and analytical techniques, and analyzing biofilm structure and function. Practical experience with microbial co-cultures and proficiency in microscopic techniques and molecular biology are essential.
