The University of Copenhagen is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to explore the role of gut microbial metabolites in cardiometabolic health through advanced metabolomics analysis. This position is part of the Novo Nordisk Foundation-funded Microbiome Health Initiative (MHI), aimed at developing microbiome-based interventions for cardiometabolic diseases (CMDs). The researcher will conduct LC-MS-based metabolomics on human samples, integrate microbiome, diet, and metabolomics data, and apply statistical analyses in R. The role also includes collaboration with other researchers and potentially teaching related courses. A PhD in metabolomics, bioinformatics, or a related field, along with expertise in mass spectrometry and R programming, is required
