Description

This PhD position focuses on developing optogenetic therapies for vision restoration by recording and analyzing neural activity from retinas of genetically modified mice. The candidate will use multielectrode arrays for data collection and perform model-driven analysis to assess neural coding under optogenetic stimulation. The position offers collaboration opportunities with leading research centers, including the Collaborative Research Center and the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience Göttingen.
