The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) for Language Sciences is offering two fully-funded PhD Fellowships for young researchers interested in interdisciplinary projects related to language sciences. The research will be conducted in collaboration with leading scientists at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics and partner institutions. Areas of focus include Language & Genetics, investigating the genetic basis of brain variability related to language, and Multimodal Language, which explores the interplay between gestures and prosody in communication. Candidates should have a Master’s degree (or near completion) in a relevant field, proficiency in programming (Python, R, Matlab, C++), and experience with statistical analysis. The PhD program is based at the Max Planck Institute with the opportunity to obtain a doctoral degree from Radboud University.
