The iDiv in Leipzig is offering a postdoctoral position to analyze biodiversity data across Germany. The successful candidate will conduct trend analyses on the spatio-temporal dynamics of biodiversity patterns, evaluate biodiversity monitoring methods, and contribute to the integration of large-scale data sets. Responsibilities also include collaboration with natural history societies, state agencies, and museums, as well as the development of data visualization tools (e.g., R-Shiny). Ideal candidates will have a PhD in biology, ecology, or a related field, with strong skills in scientific programming, database management, and quantitative analysis of biodiversity data.
