UCL is offering a fully funded PhD scholarship in the development of narrow bandgap perovskites for energy harvesting, with a focus on tandem photovoltaics. The research will explore the optimization of semiconductor films, development of nanocrystals, and characterization of perovskite materials. The position is interdisciplinary, combining materials science, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Applicants should have a strong academic background in fields such as electronic engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, physics, or chemistry. The scholarship covers home tuition fees, a stipend of £20,622/year, and additional support for travel and consumables. The position is available from 1st February 2025 or 1st May 2025.
