The University of Marburg is offering a part-time (65%) Research Assistant (PhD Student) position within the GRK 2937 – Nucleotide Metabolism in Microbes (MiNu) program. This project focuses on chemical biology and medicinal chemistry, particularly exploring RNase E inhibition in microbial nucleotide metabolism. The position involves independent research, including multistep organic synthesis, RNA cleavage assays, bacterial experiments, and protein expression.
