This PhD position focuses on investigating the bi-directional communication between the nervous system and the microbiota in zebrafish, specifically examining how chemosensory cells detect and regulate the microbiota and influence host behavior. The position is designed to develop first-class research skills and offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of neuro-immune interactions. Candidates with a strong background in molecular biology, and preferably experience with zebrafish, are encouraged to apply.
