This research grant focuses on studying bromeliads and lichens as bioindicators of ecological dynamics in tropical epiphytic ecosystems. The project involves both fieldwork in tropical forests in Mexico and research at the historic Botanical Garden of Padua. The successful candidate will apply molecular taxonomy, perform community ecological modeling, and collaborate with international research teams to study ecosystem disturbance responses.
