Ghent University is offering two PhD positions within the COFLIGHT project in the Department of Chemistry. The positions focus on advanced optical spectroscopy of covalent organic frameworks (COFs), including time-resolved infrared/terahertz spectroscopy and ultrafast visible light spectroscopy. The PhD candidates will investigate structural changes, carrier transport, energy relaxation, and charge separation at ultrafast timescales. Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Photonics, or a related field, with experience in spectroscopy or programming.
