The University of Bergen is offering a PhD position in Artificial Intelligence focused on synthetic data generation for privacy, data protection, and trustworthiness. This research is part of the ASPIRE project in collaboration with Equinor, aimed at developing innovative privacy-preserving solutions using synthetic data. The PhD candidate will explore differential privacy, federated learning, and other privacy-enhancing techniques while working closely with the SLATE team on advancing privacy and data protection strategies.
