The IMPRS offers seven fully funded PhD positions for students interested in interdisciplinary plant sciences. The program, in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute and the University of Cologne, focuses on understanding key biological processes in plants to innovate plant breeding. Research areas include regulatory networks, plant growth, innate immunity, and microbiome effects. The program provides access to over 30 research groups, advanced technologies, and a global research network, offering exceptional training in genetics, genomics, structural biochemistry, and computational methods. The PhD starts between summer and October 2025.
