Delft University of Technology is offering a fully-funded PhD position focused on the design and development of bio-based materials derived from bio-waste for sustainable construction. The project is part of the EIC Pathfinder project “PANTAREI” and involves multi-scale computational modeling, using tools like ABAQUS, along with advanced 3D printing techniques for digital prototyping and validation. Candidates with a strong background in computational modeling (especially FEM), 3D printing, and bio-based material design, as well as high-level programming skills in Python, are encouraged to apply.
