The University of Bern invites applications for a PhD position in solar cell photophysics under Prof. Natalie Banerji’s guidance. This position is part of an SNSF project focusing on understanding charge generation mechanisms in organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices using advanced spectroscopic techniques such as transient absorption and time-resolved terahertz spectroscopy. The candidate will work on OPV blends, non-fullerene acceptor films, and donor-acceptor composites while contributing to a multidisciplinary, international research environment. Candidates should have a strong background in physical chemistry, spectroscopy, and organic electronic devices. The position requires excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.
