Virginia Tech is seeking two highly qualified postdoctoral researchers to advance environmental monitoring and infrastructure resilience at the newly established Alaska Observatory. The roles involve leading research in InSAR data acquisition and analysis, infrastructure vulnerability mapping, coastal inundation risk projections, and groundwater modeling. Successful candidates will work with advanced technologies in remote sensing and contribute to applications related to permafrost degradation, coastal flooding, and DoD asset protection.
