This postdoctoral fellowship focuses on the regulation of protein translation and stop codon readthrough. The successful candidate will work on generating genome maps of stop codon readthrough and identify cis- and trans-regulatory elements controlling this process in both temporal and spatial contexts. The work will involve experimental and computational methods, including RNA pull-down, Ribo-Seq, mass spectrometry, and computational sequence analyses. The fellow will collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams and receive extensive training in analyzing omics sequence data. Applicants should have a PhD in Molecular Biosciences or a related field and experience in molecular biology techniques.
