The Paul-Drude-Institut is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher for an interdisciplinary project on the development of micro-integrated quantum-cascade transceivers for high-resolution spectroscopy and space applications, as part of the INtegrated TERahErtz sySTems Enabling Novel Functionality (INTEREST) program. The role involves the development and optimization of quantum-cascade lasers and detector structures, as well as the study of physical processes in active media. Candidates with a PhD in experimental physics and a background in semiconductor physics or terahertz spectroscopy are encouraged to apply.
