Postdoctoral Fellow – Plankton Food Web Dynamics

This postdoctoral position focuses on investigating phytoplankton-zooplankton food web interactions in the North Sea, with a particular emphasis on omega-3 fatty acid production and transfer. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing samples for fatty acid and stable isotope analyses as part of the EU-HORIZON ACTNOW project, writing publications, and supervising Master’s students. The role offers a collaborative research environment and an opportunity to contribute to marine ecology advancements, especially in nutrient transfer and biogeochemistry.
