This postdoctoral position focuses on advancing wastewater treatment through environmental biotechnology, particularly through the integration of aerobic granular sludge (AGS) processes with bioelectrochemical sensors. The successful candidate will conduct independent research, operate AGS pilot plants for nitrogen and phosphorus removal, and use molecular biology techniques to assess microbial responses. The role also includes opportunities for teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant field, experience in wastewater process technology, and proficiency in molecular techniques and bioinformatics tools.
