The postdoctoral associate will investigate neuroinflammation, cell signaling pathways, and immune regulation in traumatic brain injury (TBI) and spinal cord injury (SCI) using murine models. The research will involve advanced techniques such as single-cell RNA sequencing, tissue processing, and stereology. Candidates will receive interdisciplinary training in neuroinflammation and collaborate with teams across Virginia Tech’s School of Neuroscience, Fralin Life Science Institute, and The Center for Neurotrauma Research. This role offers the opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research in CNS injury models with a focus on molecular and cellular mechanisms.
