The Bioenergetics and Protein Engineering (BIP) laboratory at CNRS and Aix-Marseille University offers a fully-funded PhD position focused on developing electroenzymatic biosensors for hydrogen (H₂) detection. This research aims to contribute to the advancement of safe hydrogen storage and sustainable energy solutions. The project will involve designing biosensors using Ni-Fe hydrogenase enzymes, optimizing bioelectrode stability, and improving sensor miniaturization for practical applications. Candidates should have a Master’s in Chemistry and a strong interest in electrochemistry and 3D printing.
