The University of Antwerp invites applications for a PhD position in the EMAT research group, focused on the crystal structure evolution of perovskite electrocatalysts during cycling for water splitting applications. The research aims to develop cost-effective, efficient electrocatalysts to contribute to advancements in green energy technologies. The successful candidate will perform electrocatalytic experiments, use advanced electron microscopy techniques, and investigate structural-performance relationships. Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science, with experience in electrocatalysis and an interest in crystallographic techniques.
