Description

The University of Dundee offers a fully funded 4-year PhD studentship focused on investigating the efflux transporter liabilities of targeted protein degraders in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. The research will explore how to overcome blood-brain barrier challenges posed by efflux transporters, with the goal of improving the brain penetration of bifunctional degraders. The PhD will be conducted in collaboration with Promega Corporation and supervised by Dr. William Farnaby and Professor Kevin Read.
