This postdoctoral position in the Clausen Group at IMP focuses on understanding the impact of disease mutations on protein lifespan, using C. elegans as a model organism to study proteostasis mechanisms in age-related myopathies. The successful candidate will utilize advanced techniques such as fluorescent reporters, genome-wide screens, and mechanistic studies on ubiquitination and autophagy to investigate protein aggregation and muscle dysfunction. The position offers access to state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative research environment at the Vienna Biocenter.
