Description
The University of Antwerp is offering a full-time doctoral scholarship in In Vitro Gametogenesis within the "SAVAGE" project, focusing on fertility preservation and genetic rescue. The research aims to develop protocols for generating offspring from somatic cells, addressing the extinction crisis. The candidate will conduct research, publish articles, attend conferences, and assist with teaching related to veterinary physiology and biochemistry. Applicants must have a Master's degree in life sciences or related fields, with skills in stem cell culture, molecular techniques, and animal model work. The initial contract is for 2 years, with an option for renewal.
